OrionIQ’s agentic investigation is now built into Logz.io Open 360 AI. Ask a question and OrionIQ investigates across your telemetry, shows its work as it goes, links every finding back to the exact query behind it, and tells you how much to trust the answer.
We’re bringing OrionIQ Chat into Open 360 AI. This is the first OrionIQ product to ship inside the Logz.io platform, and it’s the same agent that powers the standalone OrionIQ app, now available right where you already work.
It replaces the previous Open 360 AI chat with something fundamentally different. The old chat answered questions. OrionIQ runs investigations.
ORIONIQ AT A GLANCE
OrionIQ introduces a layer of intelligence and automation across the incident lifecycle, helping teams move from detection to resolution with greater speed and consistency.Key capabilities include:
Telemetry Correlation Across Signals
Aggregates and correlates logs, metrics, traces, and recent system changes into a single incident-level view.
Early Root Cause Hypothesis Generation
Surfaces likely causes at the start of an investigation to accelerate initial diagnosis.
Automated Triage and Context Assembly
Collects relevant telemetry and attaches diagnostic context to alerts and tickets before human review.
Alert Prioritization Using System Context
Evaluates alerts against broader system behavior and historical patterns to determine which require action.
Consistent Execution of Operational Workflows
Applies predefined investigation and response steps in a structured and repeatable way.
Shared Incident Context Across Teams
Maintains a consistent set of diagnostic information as incidents move between support, operations, and engineering.
Signal Value Identification for Cost and Clarity
Highlights high-value versus low-value telemetry to support more efficient data usage and cost control.
Most real observability questions don’t have a single-source answer. The context is spread across logs, metrics, deployments, and the other systems you run. A one-shot reply can summarize. It can’t investigate.
When you ask OrionIQ something involved, it plans an approach and delegates to specialized agents, one for logs, one for metrics, one for your connected integrations, then brings their findings together into a single, structured answer.
And it never asks you to take that on faith. You can watch the whole investigation as it happens:
Because each investigation is saved as it runs, you can navigate away, refresh, or come back later and pick up exactly where you left off.
This is what makes OrionIQ different, and it matters most when the stakes are high.
Every finding is tied to the telemetry OrionIQ actually examined. When an answer involves a trend, a distribution, or a ranked list, OrionIQ shows it inline as a chart, a log histogram, or a table built from your real data, instead of describing it in words. Each visual carries a one-click link to the exact query behind it, opened directly in Logz.io, so the evidence is always one click away.
Just as important, OrionIQ knows the difference between a supported conclusion and a guess. It tracks the evidence each finding rests on, and when that evidence is thin or missing, it lowers its own confidence and says so. A root-cause claim the data doesn’t support is downgraded to a probable cause, with the gap called out. OrionIQ would rather tell you it isn’t sure than sound certain and be wrong.
OrionIQ investigates your systems, not a generic idea of one.
Every system you connect makes the next answer richer and more grounded in your reality.
When OrionIQ surfaces something worth acting on, you don’t have to leave the conversation. Turn the source behind an answer into a new alert, or add it as a dashboard panel, in a click, prefilled from exactly what OrionIQ found.
OrionIQ can only ever access the accounts you’re authorized for, and every external system it reaches is access-controlled. Each run is cost-governed, with token usage visible in the chat. The safeguards are built into how the agent runs, not layered on top.
OrionIQ Chat is rolling out to Logz.io customers inside Open 360 AI, starting in the Explore experience and expanding across the platform. It’s the same chat you’ll find inside OrionIQ.
Coming next: one-click deep-links for more providers including Datadog (OrionIQ can already investigate across Logz.io and Datadog data), richer inline visuals, and OrionIQ in more of the places your team already works.
